hello I have just returned from travelling and whilst I was out there I experienced a problem with my camera. there is an intermittent problem with the auto focus sometimes it works normally sometimes it will focus but not take the photo and other times it will not even focus nevermind take the photo. when I manually focus there is a clicking at one point and it has started to say that the lens is not attached. to me the lens appears to be attached and it takes minimal turning for the message to go away. I am unsure if this is a genuine problem unlike the auto focus. my insurance company initially need a report detailing the cost of repairreplacement before I can proceed with having my dslr fixed. please could you provide this along with a reason as to why it has happened as they will not cover for wear and tear. somebody suggested that it could have been caused by a knock unknown to me but I wondered if sand could have been the problem as we were on beaches at times.thank you for your help kari
