nikon sb600. the flash fires but it doesnt seem to be working. no flash output.

i often use canon speedlites on the hotshoe of my canon camera.the flash no longer consistently fires.i believe the issue is to do with the hotshoe not providing enough pressure to the flash as it feels slightly looser than it used to.if I take the flash off and clean the contacts I have a greater chance of the flash firing but it is now at the stage where I am having to do this far too often and would like the issue resolved.cheersrob.

hi the lens focusing is stuck at focus from 11.5m to infinity I think its been knocked out of place and now wont rotate the elements to re focus. could you let me know how long it would take to repair this and how much it would cost thanks.

the camera says read error when trying to see photos already taken

i keep getting error code 01 saying that the lens contacts need to be cleaned. I have attempted this myself with a microfibre cloth but the error still pops up around half the time. the other half of the time the camera works poorly with the images overexposed and blurry. I suspect it is a problem with the lens itself rather than the camera as the camera body was tested with another lens and worked perfectly whereas the lens was tested on another camera body and experienced the same issues.

canon 600di have two lenses listed above and both seem to have a very choppy focus ring. looking for smoother action.

i have a dslr lens which no longer autofocus and when manually focusing it can not rotate fully likely that sandgrit is after getting into the mechanism as the lens gets very stiff when rotating. how much does a repair of this form typically cost
