canon eos550d shows err 1 camara and lens not communicatiing clean contacts etc. lens works perfectly at f5 but stopping the aperture down gives the error1. investigating on the web in various forums suggests the wire operating the diaphragm is broken or the diaphragm is stuck wide open.the lens is in good nick apart from this problem any ideas on price if I the diagnosis above is correctbest regardstrevor hutchings
