this is the mark I rotation version not push and pull. httpwww.phototestcenterhtmlnikon_35 135.html. dropped the lens on floor. the front zooming part which goes in and comes out of the main barrel works fine too however a hair line fracture has happened starting from the front edge and is about 2 cms long. I can still screw the filter. I dont wish this crack to go bigger and as I like this lens although old wish to keep hence query about repair. feels like a fine super glue job is required but will be keen to get done properly.
