panasonic lumix dmc-tz80camera accidentally dropped and the battery door cover no longer latches closed. I suspect there should be something which keeps the metal inside part, the plastic latch which should hold it closed and the main part of the flap together. the main part of the flap is attached, but the metal piece and plastic slider have come detached.the camera still takes pictures, and zoom, focus etc appear ok.

i have ten lenses mostly minolta. I have an insurance claim following a house fire in which the lenses were subject to smoke and damp. I need to establish the cost effectiveness of the costs of cleaning compared to replacing.
