canon 580ex1 flashgun suffered a fall. flash still fires although 5 seconds after powering up the settings lock and mode buttons do not function. flash head cannot move left and right and when flash is used straight on heavy vignetting is present around 30 of the images in borders.

hi there I have three things id like to find out if its worth repairing. 1 my 40d just flashes busy and will not do anything with or without a lens on.2 I fell whilst at a wedding and damaged my favourite lens which is a sigma ex x 28 x the focus has slipped and the afm switch is slightly damaged3 my sigma ex x x isnt sharp.i am currently working in morecambe so can visit. but would love to know ball park what you think.regardsanthony

himy nikkor 10 30 lens keeps making my screen go black when you move the zoom in or out it works fine for a short time as long as you dont move it can this be fixed and if so roughly how much would it cost would be grateful for any help as I use this lens most of the time many thanks annette

hello I got this lens as a gift for a friend but I think it needs a little tlc before I can pass it on. the focus is a bit off the focus ring is very stiff and the whole assembly is a little bit wobbly. I think if it was stripped cleaned and had the lubricant on the focus ring replaced it would be ok.
