lens works but focus ring feels gritty I think it needs a clean and greace.

Alan

this lens was lost and found outdoors having sat in the cold and wet for a long time. the exterior has cleaned up nicely but there are signs of rust on the screw heads and the interior of the lens has been marked by condensation some of which has created oily spots where a drop has dried on the inside surface. I can send some pictures of the lens as the marks are quite visible. the af motor still works and other than the moisture there is no damage to the lens.
