nikon af s 24 70mm f2.8g edmy camera tripod toppled over and has caused damage to the lens.the thread at the end of the lens has been knocked out of shape so it is no longer possible to unscrew the uv filter. the uv filter was cracked but the broken class has carefully been pulled out.in addition I think the barrel shape has been distorted ....when twisting the barrel to zoom it locks up at around 33mm and I have to apply additional pressure to overcome that mark and utilise the rest of the zoom. I would assume this is caused by distortion to the shape of the barrelid like the lens as good as new with a perfectly aligned barrel and have the end thread fixed so that I can use filters againplease may I have accurate costs for fixing thismany thanksdan
Dani have a tamron 24-70mm x lens which works fine sometimes but after it`s been on for a while will stop auto focusing. I also use it for a lot of video work and I notice that in a video it flashes every minute or so, it also occasional makes a small beep and very occasionally the screen flashes green.thankskate
